As if there weren’t enough bad news about steroids, HGH, and the State of New York…there’s more!

Most major cities in the United States are served by charitable causes including religious organizations, doctors, and legal counsel. Typically, volunteers of this sort focus their efforts in the poorest urban areas where access to legal advice and health-care is rare. On occassion, there are those who will exploit a “good thing” as was the case earlier this year. On January 4th, 2010, Jason and Samuel Kelley appeared in court along with co-defendants for their part in a pharmaceutical scheme to illegally sell performance enhancing drugs (PEDs).

In United States District Court, Jason and Samuel Kelley viewed expert witnesses who commented on the list of items seized from the Kelley’s mobile pharmacy registered in the State of New York as Applied Pharmacy. In addition to onsite physical transfer of the illegal goods, the Kelleys also shipped steroids, HGH, and other medicines to global destinations. In fact, seized documents revealed domestic customers in their teenage years. However, most clients were in their 20s and 30s who received an array of PEDs though there were no legitimate reasons for the scripts. Along with the countless forms of steroids, the Kelleys also provided HCG (human chorionic gonadotropi) which many bodybuilders take in hopes of reversing testicular atrophy. Sadly, HCG usually does NOT meet the hype and human testicles, shrunken by the use of anabolic steroids, tend to remain their reduced size.

Testimonies from former steroid users and clients detail side-effects from their steroid use including the failures of HCG. One individual noted that his testicles had shrunken by 50%. Meanwhile others describe swollen prostate glands which caused the need to urinate 1x every 1-1/2 hours.
